As a world class destination, going to and from Boracay is never a hustle.

There are daily flights to Kalibo International Airport and to Boracay Airport in Caticlan, mainland Malay. From Kalibo Airport, it is a 1.5 hour – 2 hours van or bus ride to Caticlan Jetty Port while it’s only 15 minutes if you’re from Boracay Airport.

Airport transfer

You can book organized transfer going to Boracay which cost from Php 785 per person at BPHT Booking Services transfer service. But if you prefer to travel to the island on your own, coming from Kalibo Airport, there is a public van going to Caticlan for only Php 250 per person.

Boat/Ferry transfer

Now, going to Boracay is easier as there a number of options to cross to the island. Aside from the regular motor banca, tourists can now ride safely and conveniently through a ferry and chartered speedboat Boracay Water Taxi. Oyster Ferry, the ferry company now servicing Boracay passengers is operating 24 hours. It follows a certain schedule you leave on time.

From the port
At Caticlan Jetty Port, you will have to pay the Terminal Fee (Php 100) and Environmental Fee (Php 75) and boat for Php 25. If you are coming from Caticlan Airport, there are tricycles you can rent for Php50.

Transportation around the island
Upon arriving at Cagban Port in Boracay, there are motorized tricycles, electric tricycles (E-trikes) and multi cabs you can ride going to the main areas of the island.


For tricycles and E-trikes, you can charter it for Php 100 or you can just join the regular trip and pay only Php 20 up to Station 1. Regular tricycle fare within Station 1 to 3 is Php 10. You can also ride a habal-habal or motorbike for Php 20 per trip.
