As part of the continued rehabilitation of Boracay, Environment Secretary Roy Cimatu said eyesore spaghetti or electrical wires shall be cleared by next month.

“That should be out already by the middle of February,” Cimatu said in a media interview recently in Boracay.

Cimatu ordered the removal and clearing of all spaghetti wires of electric power provider, cable and telecom companies during the recent ground interagency meeting in Boracay.

The environment secretary said that the eyesore spaghetti wires do not compliment the now wider roads of Boracay.

The meeting was attended representatives from the Local Government Unit of Malay, various government agencies and stakeholders of the island.

He said the task force is now working on the completion of the road widening and construction of the circumferential road in the island.
