President Rodrigo Duterte led the distribution of land titles for Boracaynon and Aklanon beneficiaries on Thursday.
The 623 Certificate of Land Ownership Award (CLOA) covering 274.0352 hectares of land under agrarian reform were distributed to 484 agrarian reform beneficiaries.
Six CLOAs were distributed to 45 family beneficiaries in Boracay including the 44 families from the Boracay Ati Tribal Organization (BATO).
The 3.2 hectares of land distributed to Ati beneficiaries were situated in Barangay Manocmanoc.
Aside from the beneficiaries in Boracay, 33 CLOAs for the 30.2704 hectares of land in Barangays Kalubihan and Nabaoy in mainland Malay will also be distributed to 28 families.
A total of 534 CLOAs for 183.7194 hectares of land were also distributed to 484 beneficiaries from Barangay Tagas, Tangalan.
Fifty land titles for 56.3245 hectares of land will also be given to 50 beneficiaries in four barangays in Buruanga town.
