Some 156 Chinese tourists are set to be repatriated tonight back to China under orders by the Chinese government as part of its measures to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus on this part of the Philippines.
The delegation is part of a big number of Chinese tourists who are staying on the island which are being sent back home to Wuhan City due to fears of a possible spread of the infection among other tourists on Boracay.
Information reaching the Boracay Informer said they will be flown back to Wuhan, China at around 9:30 o’clock this evening via Pan Pacific Air Flight 8Y 832.
Most of these Chinese tourists are already on the island even before the suspension of flights from Wuhan, the ground zero of the deadly coronavirus also known as 2019-nCoV.
