DTI opens one-stop shop operations center in Boracay

A one-stop shop operations center is now open and serving local entrepreneurs, displaced workers, and residents affected by the temporary closure of Boracay Island. The Center is housed at Eurotel Hotel in Sitio Manggayad, Brgy. Balabag, Boracay Island.

The center houses different government agencies in one location such as the DTI, Department of Labor and Employment, Department of Social Welfare and Development, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, Department of Tourism, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Agriculture, and Department of the Interior and Local Government.


The one-stop shop operations center is a partnership program with the Municipality of Malay.

The center aims to assist affected entrepreneurs, displaced workers, and locals on their queries and concerns on the programs and support activities of the government amidst this challenging time.

For the DTI, the agency has scheduled to conduct skills trainings and support activities such as Training on Puto Pao Making; Trabaho Negosyo at Kabuhayan in partnership with DOLE; Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay and Skills Training on Soap Making; Crafts Making and Fashion Accessories; and, Financial Literacy, among others.

Interested participants may visit the DTI Desk at the one-stop shop operations center at Eurotel Hotel in Brgy. Balabag, Malay, Aklan or the Negosyo Center Malay at Boracay Action Center, Balabag, Malay, Aklan for more details.

The technical staff of the said national government agencies are on duty from 8am to 5pm, from Monday to Saturday, to assist clients on their respective needs and queries. The DTI enjoins the locals to visit the center and avail of the services and programs offered by the government.
