KALIBO, AKLAN- Newly crowned MISS TEEN INTERNATIONAL 2017 and MISS TEEN CHARMING INTERNATIONAL 2017, Kathleen Sinag Paton of barangay Laserna, Nabas, Aklan will be arriving home tomorrow, Friday, September 29, 2017 via the Kalibo International Airport.
Ms. Paton and mother Luz Sinag Paton is expected to arrive in Manila from Australia tonight and the following day, they will be boarding the Philippine Air Line Flight No. 2975 with scheduled time of departure at 3.30 PM and estimated to arrive at the Kalibo International Airport at about 4.30 PM.
Ms. Paton who will be welcomed by the Staff of the Provincial Tourism Office and the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Aklan at the airport will motor to the Provincial Capitol for a courtesy call with Aklan Gov. Florencio T. Miraflores, Vice Gov. Reynaldo “Boy” M. Quimpo and the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members. A press conference will follow with the media practitioners of Aklan at the east-west function rooms of the new Sangguniang Panlalawigan Building.
Kathleen bested two other finalists, Miss Teen Brazil and Miss Teen USA who emerged first and second runner-up, respectively, to romp off with the prestigious crown, Miss Teen International 2017 in an international talent and beauty pageant held at Bangkok, Thailand from September 18=24, 2017. The pageant was participated by 15 teen women from other nations of the world.
Earlier, Kathleen was crowned Miss Teen Charming International 2017 and won the overall sports challenge which catapulted her to the semi-finals of seven candidates.
Kathleen is the youngest among the four siblings of spouses Roy Paton, an Australian national, and Luz Sinag Paton of barangay Laserna, Nabas, Aklan. The family operates the famous cold spring resort in barangay Laserna, Nabas known as the Fern Valley Resort.
The teen titleholder was born in Boracay Island and studied her elementary grades in Laserna Elementary School until grade four when the family decided to move to Australia. Kathleen finished her high school at the Canberra High School and she is now on her first year in Bachelor in Business at the Victoria University in Melbourne.
